Tradz, an innovate fintech startup
Tradz is a next-generation fintech platform that marries seamless stock trading with open-source, data-driven research. Tasked with positioning Tradz as a game-changer in the industry, I developed a cohesive brand identity, from a flexible logo suite to web and mobile app mockups, that reflects the platform’s commitment to making deep insights accessible to every investor.
The starting point
Tradz had no brand identity beyond a name. In a crowded fintech landscape saturated with similar blue-and-green marks, the brand needed a bold, modern voice that broke from convention, signaled technological innovation, and invited trust from novices and seasoned traders alike.
Goals of the project
My aim was to craft an identity that communicates clarity, dynamism, and openness. The logo had to feel at home on everything from a tiny app icon to large-scale conference banners. Website and app designs needed to integrate that identity seamlessly, guiding users through complex data without overwhelming them and reinforcing Tradz’s ethos of transparency.
My role and process
As the sole designer on this project, I led the entire brand development in close collaboration with senior leadership. Beginning with hand-sketched explorations, I zeroed in on the triangle, an enduring symbol of change, to capture the platform’s disruptive spirit. After rounds of feedback with senior leadership, I refined the mark into a balanced, 3D-inspired logo suite, established a custom color palette and typography system, and applied these assets to polished website and app prototypes ready for engineering.

While Tradz’s platform is still in development, the new identity and mockups have become central to the company’s fundraising efforts. Leadership now uses the cohesive brand and digital designs in pitch presentations to venture capital firms, positioning Tradz as a forward-thinking fintech contender.
